About us
Ming Huat Vege Trading Sdn Bhd

Our company was founded in 2013 by Eldy Liew, a millennial entrepreneur with a background in e-commerce and marketing with work experience in MNC company. Growing up in a hardworking family deeply involved in agriculture, poultry, durian cultivation, vegetable farm and corm plantation for over 40 years, Eldy developed a strong foundation in the agricultural industry from a young age. With the guidance of his parents and elder siblings and the responsibility of caring for his two younger siblings, Eldy returned to his hometown, Ipoh in year 2013 to startup a vegetable trading business and start with wholesale stall at the local market, alongside his younger brother.
In year 2017, starting with a small wholesale stall at the local market, through four years of dedication, we earned a valuable supply contract to deliver fresh vegetables to major hypermarkets in Malaysia. This achievement marked a turning point for us as we invested in our logistic capacity includes 30 ft cold chiller trucks, a cold room factory and vegetable packing machines to run our production line. At the same time, recruiting experienced personnel to expand our operations.
In year 2020, as part of our commitment to quality and freshness, we have also begun cultivating our own farm allowing us to maintain strict control over the freshness and quality of our vegetables while ensuring a stable supply and competitive pricing in the market.
Our journey is not only driven by business goals but also by a desire to create a lasting legacy for the Liew Family. Eldy, who once carried durians with both hands behind a motorcycle wheel at the age of six, aspires to embody the same sense of responsibility and humility as his hardworking parents. By combining the Liew Brothers’ entrepreneurial spirit with the values instilled by his family, he aims to build a thriving and sustainable business that will be cherished for generations to come.
